Parts required for LS6 cam swap

I have seen different opinions on what parts I actually need for an LS6 cam swap. The main question is whether or not I have to get longer pushrods with this cam. I hear its required due to the smaller base circle on the LS6 cam. Is this true? Furthermore, do I need to get the LS6 oil pump as well, or will the stock LS1 pump work fine? Also, can someone list the part numbers for the parts I need, such as cam, springs, pushrods (if needed) and oil pump(if needed) and any things else required?

Some springs and a gasket kit, wouldn't waste my time with pushrods.

Thunder racings cam swap kit comes with a crank bolt , having one an inch longer would definitely be helpful, you can slip a big socket in to get it off with the right puller but gettin the pulley back on with the stock length bolt is a PITA, I used a mallet to get it on far enough for the bolt to engage, as for a lifter tool I used 1/4" tubing the JPR lifter tool is nice but for $80 or so it's not worth it unless your gonna do numerous swaps, also get a good spring tool for me this was the most time consuming ordeal, I used the SLP compressor, this spring tool also comes with air fittings to usea compressor to keep the valves up which isn't necessary if you do the valves at TDC.

Make sure you get the cam you want, 2001 Z06 has lower lift(.525") than 2002(.550") and get the right springs for the cam you have.

I have the 2002 LS6 cam and I only chaanged the valve springs.I picked up 15 rwhp with only a lid,TB,and cutout.I recommend gears with this cam. Also, bump your limiter to 6600.
