Post Difference between 40 series flowmasters. Street or street and strip?!

There is a 40 series that says street and it costs $59 and then there is a 40 series street/strip that costs $72. What is the difference. This on the Jegs website. Could somebody explain the differences. Thanks

Street/Strip is probably 40 series 2 chamber, whereas 3 chamber is "street". They should be about the same price though. Show me the link, and I will tell you more. I think somewhere I did see the 2 chamber also called "street/strip" because it's a little louder than "street", which is 3 chamber. I have flowmaster 40 series 2 chambers on here, it's only loud due to my headers and duals and engine combo though. It's not as loud as I'd like, but it's ok for now!

I think one of them is supposed to be not as loud on the inside is the reason for the higher price maybe.

Yeah, the expensive one is called the delta flow. It is supposed to flow better, and at the same time, decrease interior sound. I wanted the loudest possible, so I got the regular 40 series, which is also cheaper......That is the difference.

Craig, I did not think it really fit in LS1 tech. Considering it was a question about a muffler.
