Dana 60 rearend?
A friend of mine told me that you could use a Dana 60 rearend on an F-body with no problems, and that's its a lot better (and cheaper) than a GM 12-bolt.
Anyone know anything about this?
How much would it cost if it is compatible, how well would it work, how strong is it, and what gears would work on it? I'm not sure whether my friend is bullsh1ttin' me or is telling the truth. I've vaguely heard from some guys on LS1.com saying the Dana 60 is a good choice, or something like that...

if you worked for john moss it would be easier, otherwise no. the dana 60 is heavy, highly parsitic, and overall a waste to put in a camaro since the lighter and less parasitic bolt in 12 bolts are readily available.
Ok, I have to ask a stupid (newbie) question here but...what's a rearend?? I often here people talk about it along with gears. Can someone explain it to me?? Thanks.
