Daiblo Predator +performance MAF = problems?

I have heard that it is not good to combine a after-market MAF with a performance tune. Is this true? I am getting the Predator for sure. I am just not sure weather to just leave in the stock MAF or not.

IMO, the stock MAF is just fine...regardless of whether or not you're getting the Predator.

I guess no one has had any experience combining a aftermartet MAF with a performance tune. I am thinking I will get a spark advance and leaner A/F ratio from each one, or double the affect if I use both.....which would not be good. Someone step in here if I am wrong.

Like already stated, the stock maf is fine. There is really no reason to buy an aftermarket maf unless your engine is putting out over 450hp. Just put the stock maf back on WITH the screen. Check your plugs and O2 sensors as well. You were probobly running extremely lean, and now the plugs and O2 sensors could use replacing.
