Could use a little help installing A/F gauge...

I have a Auto Meter A/F gauge to install from my 97 Camaro Z28. I know the red wire on the A/F gauge is the hot wire, white for lights, black for ground, and purple for the O2 reading. On my LT1 I had the purple routed into the PCM.

Anyhow, what wire from the PCM (or even an O2 sensor) should I connect the purple wire to on this LS1 engine? Also, what is the best lead for the lights. I was origionally spliced into the headlight switch relay on the old Camaro.... but I'm not so sure that was the best wire to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Also, I have an amplifier to install. Like an idiot I didn't take a picture of the lead wir into the stereo harness before removing it. If someone has the wire schematic for the stereo head unit input plug, that would be of great help as well.

Thanks.

First of all, a 97 isn't an LS1, and for the A/F gauge you tap into the purple wire off the of the front right oxy sensor. This is how it it is on my car, not sure what the heck your car is....

Appreciate the info. I already know I could tap into theO2 wire from the header on either side. I wanted to tap into the PCM plug because it's away from the hot headers and is an "invisible" install (ie you can't see the wire when you open the hood and look around.) My Q was which purple PCM wire on of the four main terminals to use. On an LT1 it's wire #8 on the grey/ clear terminal plug. I already know the LS1 PCM is different....so....

BTW, I know a 97 is an LT1 That's the car I just sold for my 2002 Z28. My sig says I own a 2002 Z28. Not sure why this was so confusing.......
