Corvette Header in an F-Body

I just read an article in car Craft mag. about headers and their dyno runs. I am wondering if anyone has info related to installing them in the f body cars or if it can even be done. thanks.

Re: Corvette Header in an F-Body

Well..they do make f-body specific headers and I would typically think that is for a reason

While they will bolt up to the motor, they will most likely not clear things like the fram rails and steering assmblies in a F-body. You may also have firewall problems. I would stick with an F-body specific header.

No deal... not only will they not clear the firewall... you would have to have a custome exhaust made for them... not worth the hassle... Hookers man.. for sure...

Yeah that article was probably directed more towards people with Corvettes or hotrods that have LS1 motors swapped in that could actually fit those manifolds(Like an old '32 roadster wouldnt have any problems with them....)

Just get some pacesetter headers.....its worth the $$$

Re: Corvette Header in an F-Body

If you are talking about the article in the JAN 05 Issue those are F-Body Hedders and Corvette and Camaro Manifolds
