Question A Coolant Leak with a mind of its own....

I just recently had a cam, springs, rods, timing chain, oil pump put into my 99 TA and had it tuned. The next day after all that was in I saw some engine coolant under the front right tire. I then jacked the car up and looked for the leak but saw nothing. The funny thing is it only leaks when the car has been sitting for about 20+ hours. I saw where it is dripping from and it is near the center pulley below the thermostat. After the car is warm it stops leaking though. I have checked most of the lines and everything looks good. New gaskets were put on the car when all the stuff was put in. Im going to have the guy who installed it take a look, but this is just driving me crazy. He said he might have over filled the tank, but the level seems to be about where it should. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!

Maybe your water pump is bad.

Have you ever had it replaced?

Have him put some dye into the system, there's an additive out there that'll show up under a special light...

The pump was repleaced about 9 months ago, OEM too. I just put new clamps on all the hoses going into the pump, tomorrow when it is cool I will give it a try. How much does the dye cost to have it done?
