Converting an '01 LS1

Our non-profit organization, Team 911 Racing, just received a 2001 Camaro Z28 as a donation. The only problems are: #1. The vehicle has smaked a wall and needs a front clip along with abs pump and stuff like that. #2. Needs a motor and trans.

It had a 6 speed in it before it was given to us. the rest of the car is 100% behind the front tires. Since we rely on donations of parts etc. we need a cheap way of getting this thing moving on its own. We are thing about junking all of the electronic stuff and putting a 350 with a manual trans. My question is Will it be an easy task? or should we pony up the 3000.00+ for the ls1 motor, trans, computer and other electronic stuff thats missing/broken? As i said, we dont have the 3000.00+ lying around to do that, but we have access to a 350 that we can build.

ANY and ALL help would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to email me if you wish to discuss anything outside of the forum.

You'll have better luck with this on "LS1 Tech"...... it isn't "Advanced Tech".

Moving...........
