Question Concerning "Greddy" oil catch can

Hi everyone;

I received my oil catch can the other day, and purchased the "T" mounting bracket. There are 2 holes in the back where you attach the unit to the bracket (did not receive the screws, or bolts). I plan on attaching the unit to the bracket, and mounting it on the passenger side shock tower.

Please excuse these questions, if my stupidity is keeping me from figureing it out:

1. Once this can is full of oil, HOW DO YOU DRAIN IT?
(if it is secured to the bracket from the rear, and the bracket is
secured to the vehicle, to me it is now imobile and there is
no drain valve)

2. I received only 2 blue "Earls" clamps, yet I have 4 connections?
(this is easier, I figured out to purchase 2 more, however one
would think all the necessary hardware would be provided.)

Thanks in advance.

SteveC

1. I just pull it off and dump the water/oil out of it. A drain is not a bad idea though.
2. Yeah, I got two of those clamps. I only used the ones at the oil catch (Greddy) itself. I didn't use any at the PCV valve. As far as the other hose, if I remember correctly I might have used a regular hose clamp. It's where you can't see anyway.

I would've responded sooner but I usually don't check the LT1 tech section every day. Let me know if you got anymore questions.

brokenz;

Thanks so much for the information, where did you mount your unit?

Down partway in the hole that the airbox used to sit in. I made a bracket out of a block of white plastic I had laying around.

Oops! Wrong section. I must have clicked LS1 tech by mistake, otherwise I would have never even seen this post.
