Code P0342

Yep, got this code this morning. It says it is for the camshaft position center-low output. Well, that is just frustrating. We changed out the intake and everything started up fine, no codes. But this morning, when it finally cranked, the code came up. I checked it w/ the Actron.

I found out where it is located-the back of the block, closer to the driver's side. I never unplugged this. Is it possible when we put the intake back on it could have been unplugged a little, or maybe it is broken? This code went away after I cleared it, and was fine. Even though the car ran a little sluggish. But when I cranked it again a little later, the code was back.

So, should I be searching for a new sensor (just in case), or wait and struggle to see if it is unplugged. I can't check it until after 4.

Anyone else go through this when they had their intake out? This is a 99.

Thanks!
