Clutch sticking on 99

Was driving home from the Dealer where I bought 99 WS6 and clutch pedal was sticking sometimes especially during spirited driving. Clutch wasnt engaged just pedal stuck and would'nt go in gear. Could it be the hydralic acuator or just sticking pedal? I'm taking it back to the dealer but was wanting some input.

Most likely bad slave cylinder. Just get a better clutch and updated hydraulics!! My '99 used to do that too before updating the hydraulics. First time it ever did it was at 8,000 miles while spinning in first and shifting hard to second while spinning! Damn thing never followed my foot off the floor, and I was like WTF, cuz at the time, I didn't know much about my car!

I had the same problem a year ago. Turned out that my pressure plate was bad, and chewed the hell outta my clutch.
Look at the scorch marks in this pic

Go back to GM - there is a warranty callback on the Clutches of all the early LS1 cars. Pretty much GM is putting Z06 clutches into the early cars as part of the warranty
If you ask the service writer about it he has to tell you by law

damn, I didn't have a warrenty when I took my car to GM. They were the ones that told me my pressure plate was bad. But I didn't let them do any of the work.

Yes the 98-00 had bad hydrolics, they where updated in 01-02 you probably need to have them updated though your hydrolics might only need to be bleed out.

there is no "callback" or recall on the clutch in a 99 camaro. the cars getting the upgraded clutch assembly are only getting it through approval from the area rep's by request from the service manager. there was a recall for certain 99's on the clutch master cylinder, but not very many were involved. that was recall 99056.
