clutch master cylinder....

I changed to a Centerforce dual friction and I am noticing that the pedal is really springy...kinda like a Mustang Cobra, but I have to puch the pedal all the way down and I get maybe 1 inch of slack if even, and at high RPM's between 2ns and 3rd and then 3rd and 4th if feels like the gear is about to grind but I slam it too hard before, but once when I did it at a moderate speed it cought to one of the gears and grinded then popped out of gear. is it because of the master Cylinder or is Centerforce really not that good to begin with? Any info would be great, thanks.

I'd have to say the CF sucks. I have one and for the most part its good, i have an 02 master though so that's probably why. Some people love them, some don't.

If you upgrade your master i can't guarantee it'll fix it entirely, it will make a big difference. Do that and the slave and you should be loving life. Too bad you hve to drop the tranny to do the slave.
