clanking from under car

I have noticed our SS making a metal to metal clunk sound when I drive over bumps. I seems to b coming from right behind the drivers side door. We have sfc's installed and thats all. Could something have popped loose. I looked underneath and didn't see anything haning down but the noise sounds like something loose and smacking the frame or body when drive over bumpy roads or potholes ect. Any help?

Have you retightened the bolts since you put them on? You should every so often. i would check that first and move on from there.

I have the same clunking. Its almost like someone is draggin a 1/4 inch thick rod under the car. I have had it since I got my car with 2,000 miles on it. I havn't found the problem but it also makes noise whenever I release the clutch to start to move. It has somewhat gotten worse now tih 17,000 miles. Oh well, If I have time I will take it in to get it fixed.

Well I found that the bolt that runs through my sfc and lca was a little loose so i tightened it up and presto no more clunk.
