Cheapest place to buy an alternator?

Hey guys, I think I need a new alternator. After 15 different belts, and I replaced every other moving part on the front of the engine including the water pump, the damn thing still squeals. The dealer insists the alternator is fine, I just think they dont want to pay for it. I'm gonna get a new alternator, and if it fixes it I'm gonna raise some hell. If they dont reimburse me I'm gonna drive my lemans through their front window and leave it.

I bought my alternator from Autozone. They had remanufactured alternators starting at $86. I ended up paying $170 for mine as they were out of the $86 ones here in Staten Island. I just finished putting the new alternator on. I pulled the serpentine belt off and reached down and turned my alt pulley and it was making a screaching noise. It was still charging, but the bearings were bad. Autozone charged me $80 for a core charge which they reimbursed me after I gave them my old one. Most auto parts stores around here wanted $170-$230 for the new looking remanufactured alts. Try F-Body central from the section on here that the advertisers are on. They sell used parts from totaled F-Bods some with real low mileage. Hope this gave you a few ideas.
