...Centerforce clutch...springy pedal...

I was wondering if it was just me, but I changed my clutch to my car to a centerforced dual friction one. Now after that the thing grabs hard but i never changed the master cylinder i still left the gm one in there. I was wondering if anyone else is having the problem....maybe not a problem at all, but I press the clutch all the way down and maybe not even a quarter inch the thing starts to grab, before with the stock clutch I used to have at least 3-4 inches of slack but now nothing, you raise that clutch a little bit off the floor and then it starts to grab.....if this sounds unusual i would appreciate it. Thanks
