Car won't start because security system is not disabled by remote keys or backup keys that I have used for 2 years. What causes this and is there a quick fix??

You could try unplugging the battery for a few minutes. Reconnect and see if it'll start.

 

Take some rubbing alcohol and clean both sides of the resistor chip in the ignition key.
