can 1.7 ratio Big Block 3/8" stud rockers be used on LS1???
I'm just shooting a question out here for the sake of learning.
I noticed that the Crane 1.8 rockers say they go on a 3/8" stud. Looking in my Summit Catalog, I noticed that there are several 1.7 ratio full roller rockers for Big Blocks that fit a 3/8" stud. These rockers range from $180 to $250.
Would it be possible to take a set of these Big Block 1.7 ratio rockers and swap them into an LS1 (remove bolt......pull factory rocker......put aftermarket rocker on, put bolt back in......)? If it were possible, that would seem like a VERY inexpensive upgrade when doing a cam.
Later,
Chris

I'm not thinking you'll gain anything from this mod, but you want to upgrade your springs if you do a cam. Money better spent there.

. Thanks for the info. I'm not even near doing a valvetrain upgrade yet. I was just sitting around last night at started thinking (see what using your head gets you
).
Thanks again
