Cam manufactuer should recommend stall and gear.

If it helps, on my mustang it is 4.10-4.30 and he wasn't lying. I can't cruise 5th gear with 3.73s very well, it has an odd area where I have to keep it in 4th until I'm up to hwy speed. Different car, different story, I guess what I'm trying to say is your car won't be as friendly or optimal without the right gears and stall. Then you need to make sure your tranny runs cool enough.
