Post Cam swap... hard?

I want to put a cam in my car .. is it hard? and whats involved.

check www.instaluniversity.com i think. If not there is an LS1 website that discusses a cam swap. One thing i do know is that you have to remove the radiator to have room to pull the cam out.

Surprisingly it's not terribly difficult. It will take you some time for the first one, but after that it's really not bad. I've got a lot of pictures from my H/C swap on my website. The write up isn't there, but the pictures are pretty clear.

What would be a good cam for an all stock engine. Im really not gonna get to much into the engine,just a cam.

If you're going to get a cam, you need a set of Long Tube Headers to maximize your cam's potential.
