I also have an a4 and I was thinking about the Comp Cam Dur @.050 220/220 Lift 563/563 LSA 114, 918 springs and Dyno tuning. On the street with an a4 you will want at least a 114 LSA for idle quality.

If you don’t plan on tuning you might think about a 02 or 03 LS6 cam with LS6 Springs.

With any cam it would benefit to have a set of Long tube headers and a high stall converter.

What Mods do you have currently?

I would suggest a 224 single pattern on a 112LSA. It will give you some really nice power and with some tuning, you should have no problems. It's a really good street/strip cam. We had a 224 single pattern in Trevor's 02 SS and he ran a 11.40s with all the bolt-ons.
What kind of plans do you have for the car in the near future, heads, stroker?
I can get you your choice of Comp Cam camshaft, Manley valve springs good to .600" lift, Manley titanium retainers, and Manley hardened pushrods for $749.99
