If it's the bolt that holds the intake to the heads:
P/N 12552344
M6 X 1.0 X 21.8

Thanks Bro..the only problem is that there's not one extra bolt here in Canada..not surprised..so I'll need to make a new bolt with a die kit...you wouldn't happen to know the thread size, this M6 X 1.0 X 21.8 isn't making sense to me...thanks

M6 X 1.0 X 21.8

M6= 6mm
1.0 = thread pitch

Not 100% sure, but you might need PTFE sealant on the threads. Check for a tech article on LS1 intake swaps for the specifics.

Hey it's me again...I drilled the bolt out with no issue's, well maybe one...the remaining of the bolt fell through the head...does that intake bolt holl go right throught the intake to the block or end at the bottom of the head leaving no place for that bolt to go....worst case, it did go through the head in into the oil pan....any input

thanks

Pull the intake and check the oil galley. It should be sitting on top of the galley cover...hopefully. If not, it's gone south.

BTW, what size drill bit did you use?

I just starting going from smaller to bigger with the drill bit, but then the bolt just fell through...the first thing I did was pull the intake...I drilled without the intake on...what if I pulled the galley cover off?

thanks again

You might have gone too big on your hole if the remnant of the bolt fell through. For a 6mm tap the hole should be 5mm.

Good thing the intake is out of the way. I would pull the valley cover and see if the rest of that bolt has settled on top of the block. Be careful and try not to jar anything that might cause the bolt to fall.

I got to thinking. It's been so long since I've seen an LS1 without an intake and heads. I'm visually confusing myself with a Gen I SBC which is waaaay different than the LS1 when it comes to intake/heads/block orientation.

I looked at the assembly diagram in my parts manual and it appears that the hole is right above the pushrod guides. Your bolt may be laying in one of those plastic pushrod guides. The only way to get to it is to pull the head

If you look at the bolt holes on the head they point straight to the outline area in this pic:

Sounds like a job for tomorrow. Good luck. I'm off to bed.
