Blackwing Airbox

How does this thing stack up against the aftermarket SLP version? Price is not an issue, I just really like the way it looks.

Nope, The one that was part of a SLP package on the 2002 SS.

Quality and fit is top notch. I've seen claims that it outperforms and claims that it underperforms other aftermarket lids, so I'll assume that means it's right up there with most aftermarket lids, except no aftermarket lid is of such good fit, material quality and sturdiness.

Finish isn't perfect as it is the same material as used in the OEM lids. However, a little glossy black paint sure fixes that problem!
