I was wondering if any of you who have 35th Anniversary Editions with the 345 hp upgrade could help me.

I recently purchased a 35th which stated on the sticker that it has the 345 hp upgrade, however when looking at pictures of other people's 35ths I notice they have an SLP logo on their airbox, mine does not. I do however have the dual-dual exhuast.

My question:

Has there been some mix up at the factory, and they just didn't put the correct airbox on my car, or is it correct the way it is? I have noticed on SLP online that the SLP airbox deletes the baffles from the rear of the airbox frame, and increases horsepower. Mine still has the baffles as well.

I believe they changed the airbox. Does your airbox say Blackwing on it? If so, this is indeed part of the 345HP package.

 

I looked at the airbox, there is no such word imprinted anywhere on it. I believe they didn't install the correct airbox at SLP. I'm going to call SLP and see what they can do to rectify the situation. I'm not sure what kind of headway I'm going to make, but I'll give it a shot. I do know that I paid for the upgrade, so I should get some consolation.
