Well in my opinion, 98 - 02 Fbodys are great, but then again, I feel the 01 - 02 wheels are Ugly because I like the 2000 SS Wheels better.. I bought an 02 for the simple fact that I did get a great deal on it and the one car that I was going to buy from a local dealer in my area, had a 99 Z Convert which had 37K miles on it A4, and the car I bought was going for 26K w/ 10,000 miles and I paid 21,000 which was the same price at the 99 Vert... If the local dealer did want to deal, I would have gotten the car cheaper, since in my area, I have only seen 2 LS1 based F-bodys for sale private party, and they were beat...

I will say this, get a car that you like, be it 98 - 02, whatever you buy, you will be happy with it..
