yes with the pro 5.0 the shaft comes closer to your stereo and bm ripper is farther away....my buddy shifted into thrid with pro 5.0 and slammed his hand into the stereo and broke it cuz of how close it was....

you know... ratchety mechanical feel... figured that was about the best i could describe it
like it makes you aware you are holding onto a stick that moves in and out of solid gates and connects your gears for you.... with nothing in between
anybody wanna elaborate?
is the ripper 'smoother' than stock?
i think maybe i want distinctly 'not-smooth' but not in a bad way

the reason stik98 didnt like his was b/c he didnt know how to install it
, I have the 5.0 and im not wasting my time to change it cause i like it, well minus the shorter throw option for it, just keep it the way it comes and dont buy the $40 short throw, call speed inc and ask what they reccomend...PRO 5.0

Dude save your money and just go with a short stick like the Qwik Stick. It's almost as good and for $39 at LM Performance or Speed Inc. you can't go wrong. Believe me, this is the Gods honest truth. I have a friend who has had both the Pro 5.0 and the Ripper. He said my Qwik Stick was just about as good. Also, you can always bolt the Qwik Stick up to the Pro 5.0.
i have the pro 5.0 and lous short stick. never had a problem with it until sunday at the track when i went 3rd to 2nd and bent 3 valves and a pushrod.
thread locker will fix the bolt loosening problem.. mario
