Its' the standard rear body panel painted black. Most, if not all of the GMMG cars have it. Its' a tribute to the 67-69 big block cars although the actual color was a semi-flat black rather then flat as we see today.
Some owners buy a new panel and paint it so they don't have down-time at a paint shop.
The panel is available from GM as p/n 10262039.
