not bad...

but you did all that work and still kept the ls1 intake manifold? i would have found an LS6 intae for it...probaby worth a solid 10hp

Is it tuned yet? LS1 heads or 5.3 heads (just wondering 'cause you listed both)? Happen to know the DA when you ran?

While a 12.3@110 isn't bad, I'd expect easy 11's out of a H/C, stall LS1...I think you could cut a better 60' too but a 1.80 isn't really hurting your ET.

The ls1 intake becomes a SERIOUS bottleneck on a cam only car, let alone a h/c car. Put a ls6 intake on and retune and I'll bet youll pick up 20-25 rwhp no problem, probably an equal or greater jump in torque. You'll probably find 11s too.

i'd have to agree...i think you need a tune badly. 110 MPH is S/I territory even with an auto (i can verify this check sig ).

It is tuned, still has a hanging idle though This was my first time running anything this fast, so I am still working on perfecting it. The tuner also said the same thing about the LS1 intake, and trust me, that WILL be the next mod. They are LS1 ported heads, my sig is wrong. Looking for 11's soon, with practice and intake.

Ported 5.7 heads eh? Why didn't you go w/ 5.3s for the extra compression?

I don't want to go there, I thought I was getting 5.3's and somehow ended up with 5.7's.

Well you gained 10mph in the traps thats not too bad.
Times arent bad, I have seen a 00 a4 vette run similiar times with similiar set-up and it probably weighed less than your TA and elevation is different too.
Ls6 intake would probably help out. Wish I could get a 1.8 60ft.

Re: Before/After Dyno #'s Track times

Id have to agree with them to. Maybe its just me but mine is an A4 with LM, 3.73's and a K&N and im running 12.97's. You'd figure with all those mods you have 11's wouldn't be to hard to hit at all. Still a nice pick-up and I know it was your 1st run. My 1st run ever was like a 14.5 because I was so scared but let us know how it goes!
