i have an lt1 so not the most familiar with ls1 mods.
my buddy has an 00 trans am. what are some mods for him?
he's got eibach sportline so headers/y pipe are out of the question.
current mods.
slp air lid, slp smooth bellow's, slp cold air, slp loudmouth, descreened maf
car runs strong but its got more in it.
i was thinking bout throwing a 160 thermostat in there. and i read something about a dampner pulley??? thats a pretty basic mod? don't know anything about that. thanks for any help

First i'd recomends starting with the basics. good tune up ignition/fuel system. then go into your exhaust and possibly and intake. As said above then shifter or stall and possibly some gears for the rear.

yes i was talking drop...springs seem to have a range...nothing exact.
BMR and Hotchkis seem to offer 1" drop springs, but from what i've seen that can be +/- 1/4" or so.
kindda depends on the weight of the car and all that.
the eibach prokit is probably the most popular, real world drop of about 1.3" on LS1 cars
and realize there is a slight difference front to back to get rid of the "raked" look
