bad o2 cause misfire on cold start?

car drove fine for 100 miles last nite.

fired it up today and from the start it wouldn't idle and would barely run. threw the p0300 code: random misfire

could this be caused by a bad o2 sensor? but would this even have any relevance since it was starting cold? don't they have to warm up before the ECM uses them for adjustments?

gonna check wires too, but o2 is possible as well. has 51K miles

Plug or plug wire.

O2 sensor bad will not cause a miss.

was getting a minor miss from time to time. but i don't think it was throwing a code for it.

i recently replaced the motor mounts and am thinking i may have accidentally shifted a plug wire closer to the manifolds. this will be my first thing to check.
