My truck (98 Silverado) LS1 from a 98 Firehawk, currently does not have a fuel level gauge. It has a stock type vortech fuel pump in the tank. Any help in which gauge to buy and how I will go about hooking up. Is this possible?

 

what happened to the factory guage?

 

They were all removed..I did some research on Autometers site..It dosent look like it will be that hard. I guess i have to find the ohms with the tank full and empty to get the right gauge..

 

is there still a sender in the tank? if so give autometer a call. you probably won't even have to measure any resistance from the sender.
