ASR (traction control) troubles
I'm getting the ASR OFF light iluminating on my dash. The light goes out on the switch. Upon acceleration the car is surging, acting like its cutting it out but it doesn't stop the pedal. This happened after washing the car, then it went away after a restart but is back again a day later. out of gear the motor revs fine.

Try unplugging the battery for 2hrs. Be sure to know you lock code on your stereo. You can also try unplugging the traction control. Its the small cylinder with the throttle cable going to it. I unplugged mine and haven't had any problems and no traction control.
