asr question

asr question
today my asr turned itself off y??? my tires were at proper psi and no flats,,i pulled over turned the engine off,,started back up and the asr came back on as normal 
and has done fine for the rest of the drive is there a chance that something could be going wrong??? btw i bought the car with 16 tires instead of 17 i figured since they were new i would just keep them until it was time for new tires then switch back to the 17

on both my 96 and my 99 the ASR randomly turns off by itself.
sofar i've had no issues associated with it.
as for the tires....16s are fine for it. you'll actually get better launches with 16s due to more sidewall to flex.
but 17s look better
