Anyone running AFR 205 heads?

Just seeing how you like them!!!

I have a TSP 347, Magic stick cam, ported oil pump, timing chain, and AFR 205's on the way.

Hoping to see low 11's high 10's n/a and low 10's with 100-150 shot

I dont have em but i've heard nothing but good things about them, all of their head designs have a reputation to live up to and i'm sure the 205's are no exception, just wondering but why not go for the 225's? they're still a 5.7L head so you dont lose compression...oh well, good luck hope to see some great results

I was thinking about 225's, but the wait on these heads are .

I had to wait about a month to get these 205's, they came in and I took them.

very understandable, but yeah i'm sure they're great heads, they show great dyno graphs with em and they have a reputation to live up to so have no fear

It'll take a lot of cam and almost an all out race set-up to get any benifits from the large port cross sections of the 225. Too big of a port without all the supporting hardware will loose port velocity, manners, and horsepower.

Re: Anyone running AFR 205 heads?

I haven't blown a head gasket since an unfortunate mis-shift event which shattered 2 of my pushrods into pieces, and bent some more into an S shape, not to mention tons of damage to the internals. That engine got pieced out, fortunately it was mostly stock.
