Question Anyone here using the AMW oil catch can?

Just wondering who all's using there catch can, years ago when everyone thought oil catch cans were for ricers I was a supporter of them ( the catch cans not the ricers ). Back then I thought the Greddy oil catch can was the best around ( kinda of large for an LS1 though ), today the Greddy is nothing compared to the AMW oil catch can.

Where did you mount yours.

It looks like I might have to get new mounts, firewall is to crowded.

Thanks.

I just ordered one this week. I read a few posts about it. I also saw a 99Z in person that had a PCV filter mod. The owner was installing the AMW catchcan whien I spoke ith him. This car has a cam and heads, but it had sucked enough oil through the PCV in a week to coat two fuel filters run in series between the heads and PCV valve . It's amazing how much oil the LS1 can consume this way!

If nothing else, seeing that prompted me to get the catchcan. Hell, if it does nothing else, it will keep oil from being snorted though my plastic intake and into the combustion chamber

BTW, for Dark Age 53.... that's the nicest mounting bracket I've seen yet for this mod I think I'll try machining a similar bracket for my Camaro .

That looks great. Do you still have anymore of these brackets?
Also, does the bracket bolts on directly do the head with out any mods?

I have 98 Z28 with EGR.

Thanks.

A bracket like mine will not work if you have an EGR mounted on the passenger side head, sorry.
