Anyone ever tried out the Typhoon manifolds

What happens when you have a nitrous backfire with an ls6 intake?

If it is at the wheel then it only proves the the ls6 is a slight restriction on a 500RWHP application
Which third grader drew this up? And is this at the wheels or at the flywheel? If its at the flywheel then it prolly only 8 at the wheel, Fast will net more and be lighter.

and why would someone compare it to a fast?
it's supposed to be a competitor against the ls6. and yes... it will be lighter... a whole 5 lbs lighter... lay off the fast food for a week and you get that weight back.

and there is also the fact that come with upgraded fuel rails with a -6 crossover, and -an fittings for fuel lines and nitrous.
The fact that you people say that one intake is solely better than the rest is ridiculous. Each engine is different and has different requirements.
I've seen the Typhoon tested against an LS6 on a fairly typical heads and cam setup, having the intake swapped on the dyno. Not only did the LS6 intake make more power everywhere (albeit by very little), but it fit right the first time, and made more power each consecutive pull. The Typhoon on the other hand lost 3-4hp every time it was run.
It's nice that they come with the fuel rails for the price, but the Typhoon has always been a form over function intake. Most everyone buys it for the bling.
