Any Thoughts On What Will Happen To My RWHP & RWTQ #S With These Changes?

With the current setup in my signature I made roughly 405RWHP/379RWTQ. I am now making the following changes to the car, any ideas on what happens to the above numbers?

1. Switching from my current 2800 stall to a 3800 stall.

2. Going from my 10" rear with 3:23 gears to a 12 bolt with 3:73's.

Additional Question:

My car runs 12.2s with 1.75 60's with the current setup. What do you think my times will be with the new setup (Hooking Very Good Off The Line)? My estimate was as follows:

1. 2800 to 3800 stall = Drops 60' times to low 1.6s which should get me a about .25 off in the 1/4.

2. 3:23 to 3:73 should get me .10 off in the 1/4.

3. Since my cams power band is 3500 to 6500 the converter should also get me about .10 off since I will be in the power band all the way through the traps.

So, I was figuring the car should be good for 11.7-11.8s? I have heard of cars with less power and Tq going 11.5s but my car is heavy because of the audio equipment in the car + I am running 17's Fikse rims all the way around instead of going for a good set of drag rims and tires.

Your thoughts?

Can't wait to get the work done and hit the track!

My guess is your RWHP numbers will suffer a little, but as you said you will be able to make better use of the power you have. RWTQ could be different either way depending on the converter and it's STR. I'd bet on a .2~.4 tenths drop in the 1/4 at most assuming you have some decent tires getting you out of the hole.

BTW, you are getting a custom built converter, right?

Yes, I have decided to go with a Fuddle Converter. I have heard GREAT things about them. I have had 2 PI Vigilate converters and really liked them. One a 2800 (Current) the other a 3600. I just decided that I would try the Fuddle based on what I have heard. People say they are every bit as good as Yank or PI? I will hold judgement until I have it in and have track tested it. I think it is worth a shot at the price!

Thanks for your input.
