Hey guys, a few of us are trying to get an owners list started for NHRA Edition TA and Formulas. If you happen to own one, please post a descript of your car.

 

hey, could you explain to me what these paticular cars are?
i know all about 3rd Gens, and im not too familiar with all the special 4th gens yet

my Ex-Xtreme
the truck has been traded in on 5-22-02(my 20th Bday) for a:
'98 Z28 M6- red/white leather, TTops, completely stock, 37k miles

 

The NHRA package includes: Hurst shifter for M6's, performance axle ratio for auto's, chrome rims, GSC performance tires + dealer installed decals/badges and a cool NHRA special ediion key chain. PAckage also says it includes a power steering cooler, but I believe all the new birds do. The package has been around since 00 and seem pretty rare, because we have been hunting for other owners and not finding to many. Haen't seen to many around either. Hope this helps you out.

 

I too have been searching for fellow NHRA T/A and formula owners. I have one myself and have seen,talked to one other guy from Detroit that has an NHRA Formula. I currently live in Columbus have not personally seen any here. The NHRA package was not offered until 2001, but some 2000 cars(like mine) were custom ordered way late in the 2000 production year with the NHRA 2001 package. It would be cool to find out there are less than 200 of us =)

I know there are a few in the MFBA. I thought that was a dealer-installed option package that anyone could order for their TAs and Formulas, even after purchase?

 

Only the decals/badging is dealer installed. It's a factory option. 1SH, I have it listed on my build sheet. Some people ordered there cars and asked for the badges seperate (not installed)as well.

Nice to see another NHRA edition owner. If you post at LS1.com, there is a thread started there for our cars. Post a description of your car (year,model, color, tranny) and we will gladly add you to the owners list. We have only located 9 (10 counting you)so far and have searched multiple boards and events.

I have a feeling we own a pretty rare optioned car. Thanks for the info on the 00's being installed with the 01 package, didn't know that.
