Angry Another strange noise question!

Well I've owned my 2001 black TA for about a month now, love it. BUT with a little piston slap in the morning as you others seem to have I've noticed a slight tick, tick, tick noise when I am leaving from a stop in first but then don't hear it in second. I'm thinking a clamp or heat shield is the culprit. BUT I do worry So what do you guys think this could be. I just wish my ears weren't so sensitive and looking for problems. Also what are the stock HP/TQ #'s for this year LS1.

Ummm,Ok.I have no idea what your noises are,my car doesn't make them.Just thought I'd make you happy by posting in your thread. Can you describe the noise any better?A small tick could be a rock in the tire or something. Also could be your A.I.R. pump being overwhelmed by headers.Might also be a loose rocker. An exhaust leak maybe? Someone put a zip-tie on your driveshaft?Could be any number of things.Be more specific.
