Question Air Induction

I am wondering statisically, dyno tested if anyone has, what is better for a 2000 Trans Am? An SLP air lid or functional ram air. In the future i will be putting on a ram air hood whether it be the WS6, SLP H.O., or the Raptor i am not sure yet. Any info is appreciated. THANKS

Most of the highflow induction lids on the market will show roughly the same horsepower gains. The Whisper will usually product an additional 12-14hp with some tests showing a 16-17hp improvement. This along with the Suncoast ram air box for their WS6 and Raptour hoods will work very well as they have air rammed through the hood and directly into the induction/motor when the car is at speed.

Hope this helps,
Tom

It rained that day so I didn't head over there (actually I didn't think anyone was going that day). It made 602 at Agostino's a few weeks ago but the 50# injectors were maxing out around 5000 RPMs. A set of 72s came in today so the programming will be wrapped up in about two weeks.
