if i get the fram filter will i need an xtra gasket like i would for a K&N??


or is FRAM the same as AC delco??

 

I read somewhere about a problem with even the GM factory delco fiting properly in the SS air box. They issued a new part number of a filter that fits better. You should use the fram of this filter. Not sure what years this applies to. Check with the parts department at a Chevy Dealer, they would know if any filter change for your year has been made.
