Question 95' 10 bolt into an 02'?

I will be pulling my beefed up 10 bolt from my car soon. It was originally out of a 95 and now is in my 96. It only has the ABS reluctor ring for ABS, no TC. A friend of mine wanted to know if it would work in his 02 T/A. But he has traction control. Hes not to worried about the TC actually working with this rear. The question is, if he used his backing plates and breaks can this rear go into his 02'? Obviously he would have a traction control issue... but what kind of issue would it be? Just a SES light?

I know the rear will phisicaly bolt in, but what issues will he have since he has TC?

I have no idea since ive never messed with TC... who wants that stuff anyhow

There will be a pretty nice hole in the top of the pumpkin because you will no longer be using the single sensor. The TC cars have 2 sensors that read off reluctor rings on the end of the axles. So in his case he will have 2 plugs with nothing to hook to and one hole that could be covered I guess. I guess the brakes would still work since there hydraulic, but the ABS wouldn't work.

Ah, ok. So his abs and tc wouldnt work. I would assume he would just have an SES light for it. As for the hole, he would get the sensor along with the rear so the hole would be "plugged" but nothing to hook it to. Thats what I thought would happen but I wasnt sure since ive never messed with tc. Thanks.
