I bought a set of 799 heads for an ok deal (250) I think....My question is this...


Going on a stock 00 Z-28 B4c LS1...this will be a very weak street car..(Going to make it a SS Clone)...The parts will probably be all I put on the car...TSP rumbler exhaust , mild cam , fast 90intake/90 tb some long tube headers...

What do I need to do to the heads to get the most gain from them. I am new at all this and am trying to do it all right the first time...Thanks in advance.

 

You need to get them fully ported/polished and new valves. You're looking at quite a few hundred dollars of upgrades to the heads themselves... also new springs if you plan on doing heads.
