What about that famous LQ9 block swap, are you going with a 402 Ls2?

I have a buddy that did it with the TSP 228R cam and is loving it, did the Pacesetter headers and switched everything from the Ls1 block on over (from the LQ9). I want to do this too but dont have experience. The job can be done in one day with help.

That's what I have in my car. LQ9 404 stroked, built by Livernois Motorsports. I absolutely love this motor. It fits in just the same as the LS1, its a LSx block, everything from my 383 LS1 converted right over.

Iron block in my car. Fit's just fine. They are basically the same block on the outside, so it is not like it takes up more space or anything. If you try to put an LS2, though, you need a convertor for the crank signal (I think LPE makes it?).
