Don't know if it has anything to do with the fact that the numbers came from a mustang dyno, but I guarantee my car can keep up with almost anyone's. You not only have to consider the HP numbers, but how the car actually drives.

see, some of us keep company with very fast cars.. so saying you can hang with anyone really means jack.. 360rwhp (on any dyno) wont hang with some of the cars I keep company with... Granted many of my friends do things I dont condone, mostly they have 9-10sec (track proven) street cars..
I dont get off on that personally.. mainly I feel I am jaded since I grew up with everyone running fast.. so I dont have any desire to get into it anymore.. I just like being quick..
you should find out what kind of dyno you ran on for sure. 360 on a mustang dyno would be into the 400's on a dynojet.. but your times in your sig.. not good.. perhaps you need loads of traction?

On the other side, you can spend a lot by builidng/ordering an "overbuilt and mild" 383 or 427, with like about 450 rwhp that has the reliability, tame characterstics, and pratically hands free maintence like a stocker (pratically 100k miles without lifting a valve cover) - and can take a 150 hp nitrous "insurance shot" without even blinking.
Combine that with a 9" Ford with 4 channel to keep ABS, 315's out back, and all the other goodies... your probably looking at another $20-30k added on top of the car.
Would make one swee, fast, and reliable F-bod though. Plus it would have tons more tq available throught the rpm range, so it would feel even faster in daily driving.
Hey, the LS7 crate engine should be coming out soon. GM says it will be priced vrry competatively compared to a engine shop building one to similar setup..
