I have seen people putting the 4.8 liter cylinder heads from the silverados on their LS-1/6 cars. What would the benefit be of doing this?? Anyone know? Does it give more compression? If it does, I thought the valves were smaller than the LS-1/6 heads. If anybody knows, let me know, cause truck parts are commonplace around here. Thanks,

Most people that run them have them ported and polished, and run 5.7 or bigger sized valves in them.
