2k-3k bog

i have a 99ss. ever since i got it it's bogged or stumbled between 2k and 3k. it doesn't all ways happen and it happens at different throttle positions. anyone have any ideas?

Check every filter there is. Also look at your plugs/wires.

thanks i'm new to the ls1 and haven't payed much attention to the car since i got it. spend most my time with my 97, but i just broke a ring and have to race the ss for a while.

Could be carboned up. Is it using any oil?? Sucking oil into the intake??

my z used to do the exact same thing. never did it at wide open throttle. clean your mass air sensor w/a Q-tip, but be really careful. dont use any cleaning agents. I hope this solves your problem. its been known that using oil air filters like a k&n can "gunk" up the maf sensor which causes incorrect readings.

I'd agree with the first guy check your plugs/wires my bro's car used to do the same thing before he changed the plugs/wires

it doesn't use any oil. did find a bad plug wire. it seems when i race the car i always get a ses (rear 02s). thank you all for your suggestions. hope i can find this so far nothing seems to help.
