245/40/18s on a 18x8 or 18x9?

I am getting new wheels today. Moving the two front tires 245 I have on current wheels to the new wheels. Should I get 18x8 or 18x9 for the front?

I would recomend using the 18x8 with the 245 because stock the wheels are tire combo are either 16x8 with 245s or 17x9 with 275s.
