I put the stock rims and tires from a 2002 vette on my z28. They would rub on the inside when someone was in the backseat, or if I went around a corner hard. I did a little "clearancing" with a BFH and they have not touched since.

Ditto, my car would only rub going around a corner fast. I did the hammer mod and never a problem again.

when I got my 97 c5 wheels I had to sand down the innner hole that fits on the hub on the rears because it was a 1/16th too small. As well using the BFH for the inner wheel wells.

They'll fit fine. But like the others have said, you may have to do a little bit of inner fender work. All car are a little different.

Also, those are Y2K wheels. The wheels that came on the 97-99 C5s are different from those.
