You can't buy a set of Kook flanges for $200. If I was building a street only car, I would do Mac's again. Since I want an 11 sec daily driver, though, with 10's on the weekend, Kooks was the way to go. Mac's are by far the easiest to install when laying on your back in the garage too. Where's the love!

Why the 75 shot? This isn't a Honda. Jet it for 150. If you put headers on the car you may want to sell that SLP crap for an exhaust that actually has a muffler.
Or he could always swap the resonator for a dynomax bullet

It would last longer with no nitrous.

Everyone that I've known that has had LT1/LS1s in the last 10+ years have used 150-200 shots regularly on their stock motors with no problems....considering that you can make 500rwhp with a heads/cam/intake LS1 now....That's much more power than a 150 shot...

If the motor blew up, it had many more problems than just nitrous..it probably wasn't tuned/jetted correctly.

What ''blew up'' ? always wonder what people consider as blowing up a short bloc.
Most all nitrous damaged LT/LS engines are damaged pistons or ringlands caused by improper tuning.

I suspect that's true of almost any blown nitrous motor, as long as we're not talking about people putting 300 shots on stock Honda motors.
