2-yr and 30,000 miles...do the brakes need attention?
I have 30,000 miles and so far change the oil with Castrol Syntec whenever the car tells me to. I have already changed the MN-6 fluid with Amsoil and the REAR with Royal Purple. What should I be on the look out fro next? The breaks need to be flushed? Cooling? Anything else need to be maintained above and beyond what is in the owners' manual? Oh, yeak, I do have a new fuel pump (warrenty) and the fuel filter was changed at 28,000 miles, so that is good, too. Any suggestions as to what to look for now? Thanks in advance.
Tom
OH yeah, aside from the friggin' annoying pinging, my car seems to be fine as of now. Now, if i only hadn't destroyed that MAF screen getting it out

i'm in almost exactly the same place as u.
i have nearly 38,000 though, and have replaced fuel filter, oil changes, rear diff, and tranny fluid.
also changed spark plugs and wires...used ngk plugs/msd wires
next up is the tranny fluid again, then the brakes. I'll at least have them checked. maybe have the fluid flushed, too. good luck
